What People Are Saying

“IASC manages to create consensus among the diverse personalities in the skateboard industry. That’s a feat in itself, not to mention the inherent strength of an association with such successful and creative companies behind it.”

—Miki Vuckovich
Executive Director, Tony Hawk Foundation

“For years I have wanted to bring our industry together. We should compete in the marketplace, but we have a need for a forum where we can all discuss and execute mutually beneficial ideas to keep our industry healthy and growing. IASC fills this need and I have already seen many positive effects from the IASC organization.”

—Bob Denike
President, NHS

“Skateboarding is a very diverse activity/lifestyle/sport and IASC provides a focal point for this diversity. Every company has their own marketing agendas but IASC is a voice above all that. It is a focus for the ‘bigger issues’ that often get left behind in day-to-day operations. This is why IASC is the organization which can push skateboarding forward.”

—Ian Deacon
President, Flip Skateboards

“IASC brings our very diverse and creative industry together to discuss and execute ideas beneficial to all. One voice together pushing skateboarding in a positive direction.”

—Louise Balma
Events Consultant, TransWorld Media

“We can have our differences amongst each other but in order to deal effectively with outside pressures and the issues that befall skateboarding, we need to be united. It’s the only way we’ll be able to retain skateboarding’s unique and original spirit.”

—Dave Carnie
