In 2005 IASC donated $2,500 in scholarships to the Patrick Kerr Skateboard Scholarship.
He's turned professional and achieved rock-star status among legions of fellow skateboarders. But even Rob Dyrdek sometimes has trouble finding legal places to do what he refers to as his "job."
For one day, skateboarders take over the world! Imagine 20 million-plus skateboarders riding at the same time.
Every year on June 21, skateboarders around the globe celebrate the pure exhilaration, creativity, and spirit of one of the most infuential activities in the world by blowing off all other obligations to go skateboarding!
Skateboarders are compassionate people willing to lend a helping hand and the Go Skateboarding Foundation was created to give the skateboard community one place to give back to charities and young people who are passionate and actively involved in skateboarding.
